Try spraying some WD40 exactly into the key hole on the door.Make sure that it gets in the hole. Wait a few minutes put your key in and jiggle it a little. Unless the key turns freely and still doesn't lock then one of the rods fell off inside the door, in wich case you'll have to get a chiltons repair manual and fix it yourself or have someone do it for you.

I just got a honda ex 2003 less than two weeks ago and my drivers side door didn't lock with the remote but it did with the key so I took it to the dealership and they fix it.

well you were alittle vague on question. I have seen a few power door lock actuators fail. That means no power door lock. also the sidewinder lock cylinders fail too. Honda has a service bulletin to replace the door lock cylinder and re key it to fit the old key

if it works manualy and not with either the button on the door or the key fob then more than likley u need a door lock actuator...its pretty common for them to go bad dont see to many in crvs but we do see quiet a few in others there not all that easy to change so u might want to get a shop to replace it for u

I had a 2005 CRV and had a similar problem. the door wouldn't lock with the key or the remote. It turns out that the sensor for the tailgate was bent a little so when the gate was closed it would tell the car that something was not closed. funnything is that the gate light wasn't on. I just bent it back so that the gate sensor would actually tell the gate was closed and i was finally able to lock the doors with the key and the remote. may be something is not closing right? i was able to lock the doors from the pasenger door when inside the car but now from outside. I hope that helps.
