Default What oil weight does the manufacturer recommend for a 1992-1995 honda civic d15?

I think it's on the oil cap but my oil cap is from another car and i don't have the manual to it.

Most say 10w30 but 5w30 is better. It isn't as heavy and better for 4 cylinder engines and you can use it all year long.

Honda recommends 5w 30 but any other grade is ok depending on where you live and the weather.

5w30 is recommended by honda. i use 20w50 on my 2000 civic si w/ b16a and i love it. takes some time to warm up in the morning but once warm its all the same. 5w30 and 10w30 is to thin i dont want my bearing taking a beating so i use thick oil and have'nt had any problems
