Even good mechanics can have their bad days! The clutch MASTER CYLINDER is on the firewall near the brake master cylinder. It better be because it is operated by the clutch pedal right on the other side of the firewall! The clutch is in the transmission housing so anything operating the clutch better be mounted there and that's where you will find the slave cylinder. The clutch master cylinder directs hydraulic oil down a metal tube to a connection on the frame. From there a rubber hose connects from the frame to the transmission housing. The rubber tube allows for engine vibration.Typically, the slave cylinder is mounted to the front of the transmission and is merely a small piston operator against the clutch release lever.http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...R+CYLINDERGood luck!
