If it's just a normal key you can get one at a hardware store but if it's got a chip in it (it has the big plastic thing on the end you hold) you need to go somewhere that can get that part right.

The dealership would be better because it may have a microchip in it. :-)

My daughter misplaced her car key and we had a duplicate made of the key I had for her car at Wal-Mart. The key works just fine and cost almost nothing.

I believe this is a dealer only item and will, have to be properly programmed to the vehicle anti theft system. The key has a anti-theft devise built into it just so people don't go to home despot and get a key cut for your van.

You can get the key cut at Home Depot but you will have to program it yourself.NOTE: The blank keys are expensive. Mine cost about $25 apiece.Look in your owners manual for how to do it. I have a Ford truck and all I had to do to program the key was:Put the original key in the ignitiion and turn it on but don't start the engind.Turn the key off.Put in the new key and turn it on within 5 seconds of the original key.Turn the key offTurn the new key on and start the engine.Usually programming the keys is as simple as that. The Ford dealership wanted about $50 for a new "programmed key"Hope this helps. Give it a shot!!

IF the key is a plain old type, they can do it IF they have the blank. IF it has codes in it, no. Call and ask. Good luck. Pops

If it's not the Mercedes and Volvo electronic ones and BMWs with a flat side, yes.
