I knew someone who had a 76 or 77 Accord, that finally broke down about a year ago. The obdometer went round itself several times. I have a 96 Accord, and it is at 176,000 mi. I follow it's maintenance schedule and it has never caused me any problems. So yeah, a Honda will last practically forever.

my friend bought his 1982 Honda prelude, back in 82 and it had over 390k miles on it. He got rid of it in 1996 only because the body had rusted out on him. Other than that it still ran great!

As long as you take care of it, it will take care of you. If you do all the service on time, it should last more than 200k miles with no major problem.

Typical is the operative work here. How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie Pop...The world may never knowThe dealer where I bought my last Honda has one on the floor with 1,112,000 plus miles on it and it looks like new. It was a trade in they decided to keep. They started it up and it sounded like a new Honda. The car was serviced every 3000 miles and it shows.
