where is the starter located in a 1990 civic?

It's on the right side under the distributor,just follow the positive battery cable to it

passenger side under the top radiator hose

where the transmission meets the block on the left side of the engine. If its a 5spd it should be pretty much right in front of you, if its an auto it might be farther back.
