By auto starter do you mean a push button on/off?

Yes Medic, you can do it yourself...But I don't reccomend it...We use command start a lot up here and even though they lay it out in detail in the packaging, it can be tricky...Most of us have them installed by a professional..You don't want to screw up your electrical system...You'll end up paying more in the long run...Some dealer's have a deal that will include the installation...Or...You can do some shopping around and find the best one..as they do vary...for your car..Then phone a couple of installer's and get the best price..Shouldn't cost you more than a hundred buck's or so...Good luck...Yukoneze
