If installed correctly and not damaged, should be totally waterproof.

instead of doing that tho, you could just leave your existing headlights in and get an HID kit, theyre amazing. but yes, any headlight sold must be waterproof bc it will be coming in contact with rain and possibly snow at least once a month. however, halos are extremely easy to break, for instance if you drop it from more than 3 ft of the ground you will have a crack in it, and water will get in it. oh, and another thing, halos have breathers in the back of them, so they are waterproof per say, but the front portion can be submerged in water for a short period (less than like 5 hours) of time and not have any water in the headlights. but the back of the headlights do have holes in them kinda, but its just to equalize the pressure bc when the lights are on the air will get warmer and cause condensation, the breathers are just there to prevent the condensation from collecting inside the headlight...blah
