d16 to v tech head?
can i put a b16 v tech head on my d16 stock engine 98 and will it mess up my car

yes that is actually what alot of people do. It would not mess anything up if you did everything correctly.

It is absolutely impossible to put a B-series Vtec cylinder head on a D-series engine block. Those little letters infront of the engine code designate the engine series. Parts can be interchanged from the same series but not each other.

I hope you meant can I put a D16 vtec head on my stock D16 block. Because like what the previous guy said, you can't put a DOHC B-series head on a SOHC D-series block. If you have a non-vtec D16 motor and want to put on the D16Y8 (vtec head) then this is doable and is called a mini-me swap.
