I can't get the key out of the ignition when it is really cold outside. In the summer it is no problem. It is really a pain. Once the car gets really warm, it will come out. Any ideas?Another factor is that I put the transmission in Park, but the Park light does not go on. If the light will not go on, then the key will not come out, but this only happens in cold weather.

I have the same problem with mine and its a 1992 Acura. I have to sit and wait 5-10 mins until it warms up for it to light up in P before I can get the key out. The only thing I can do is play around with the gear shift until it FINALLY goes into park

You may need to have a new PRNDL switch installed, for some reason your car doesn't realize it's in park, when it acctually is. You might also want to try a graphite lubricant to help free up the lock cylinder a bit. It sounds as though your problem is electrical, so my advise would be for you to take it to a competent mechanic.
