Is it normal for a car's ECM otherwise known as ECU becoming very warm after using the car a...
...long while? I changed my ECU for my honda accord'97 and the problem with the car not starting in mornings was fixed.But i observed that the ECU I replaced it with which is a little different since i couldn't find the exact ECU (37820-P0J-L52 old/37820-P0J-L61new) gets very warm after using the car a long while.Does this constitute any problem.

normally the ecu does get fairly warm when it is driven for a while.

yes the location of the PCM is right above the cat converter in the middle of the carcats get hot and it makes the center area hot too
|
