When the hell did Civics get so expensive?I hope you got a man-servant with the Civic at that price.You just need to get used to the seats. My Recaro's were killing my back and flat @ss of mine but once I got used to the seats, it was all good.

Sorry to break it to you, but I think you paid way too much for the car. But that's neither here or there.As for your seating, I would read the manual. Also you might want to move the seat forward in addition to just adjusting the up/down, back/forth knobs. Maybe you're too far from the steering wheel? The reach could cause some discomfort.

Buy a cushion designed for bad backs to strap to your seat. I have a bad back and the one I got worked great. A more expensive fix is to replace the seat with one that is more comfortable. You should be able to get this done for $500 to $1,000. If you have a bad back, do physical therapy to aid your back problem.

I had the same problem with my civic. I just bought some nice padded seat covers and it felt 100% better. Hey, it was cheap and effective.
