the b20's are inexpensive and you can build the hell out of them, the b18's are really really expensive, but only problem is the lower ammount of torque you get out of the b18, i mean yeah, they have a lot of hp, but the b20 has more torque, and you can always build the hell out of something or add a turbo, and whatnot, i would basically go with the b20 and then mix and match the intake until you get something that works the best, but prolly a b16 head, i dunno, look around on message boards or go to http://www.thecivicforums.com there is tons of great info on evrything there.

Ex 4 door? I'm guessing you drive a civic. You are comparing a gsr motor to a crv motor. Which b20 are you talking about? The B20z, B20b? If you have the money, get the b18c1. I'd rather get a b16a though. You can get an earlier gen b16 for dirt cheap.
