any vechicle is reliable, if you take proper care of it. Keep this in mind, the word that will be edited starts with a T.If it's got tits or tires your gonna have a problem with it!My 95 just hit 200,000 and I have never had it in the shop ever.

not very.Found On Road DeadFixed Or Repaired Daily ...or....... going out on a limb (for you Nascar fans)First On Race Daybut seriously, fords have gotten a lot better quality wise and reliability wise. I, however, would not own a ford when you can get a honda, toyota, nissan, or a subaru (especially a subaru) for about the same price, maybe slightly more, and have it last for 300,000 miles! I guess "imports" are big in Europe..... e.g. Fords and Chevys.

Good question, it depends on the year, make, & model.Early models are great, if you can still find parts, later models are ok to a certain degree, but not meant to last like the old days.New models don't have a reputation yet, & may be impossible to work on yourself. Advise you check out Consumer Reports, Car & Driver etc., or find a site where ford owners swap stories, Good Luck
