would like to know expiriences of people who bought that car before. Im going to buy one and I want to be sure that is actually a good car and its parts are good quality.

Owned a 2002 with good relaibilty. I thought it was too expensive for the negligible results in gas mileage and bought a mercedes instead.

I don't own one personally, but it is a Honda, and according to Motor Trend, the electric motor is more like an electronic rocket booster than a "helper motor". Besides, you can't go wrong with Honda.

Even though known for their reliability, the early Civic hybrids are a pain when it comes to maintaining their electrc motors - i.e- EXPENSIVE. I would rather go for a Civic LX from the same model year because there is not much difference as far as the fuel economy figures are concerned.
