If you have a Home Depot near you they can duplicate your key. Try that first, It only cost a dollar or two. If it does not work. Look on the lower left hand of your windshield and you will find the ID number for your car. Take that number to a dealer and you can get your new key. Remember, anyone who knows about this, can use your ID to secure a key for your car. it can be read from the outside. Car thief's have used this method to steal cars, but mostly they only want newer cars. By the way you can take that number and write to the factory to secure a new key. I have a 1998 Toyota Pu and I have many duplicate keys made at Home Depot, also a 2000 toyota carolla.

take your key to a place that makes them, try to take it to ace hardware, or a well known hardware store, they should be able to tell you whether or not they can make a copy, how much- usually no more than $2- and if they can't you have to get hold of a Honda dealership, they should be able to send out for a copy.
