you wouldnt need a tune up on any car built in the last 2 decades as often as an oil change. check your owners manual.

Tune-up is seperate. Oil change is new oil, filter and usually any grease needed under the car. Most places check other fluids (washer, anti-freeze, differentials, transfer case, ATF, etc.) and you pay for any that you need. A really good oil change place will also check tires and stuff under the hood freee and make a note of any repairs needed. Used to work for a Phillips station. We even ran 'em thru the wash for free after the LOF (lube, oil and filter.)

No, not necessarily, oil changes are more frequent. Tune-ups start around 30k to 100k miles..

Be sure to read your owners manual if you have one. It will tell you when you should have plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, etc....along with how often your oil/filter should be changed.
