Default whats the consqeunces?

what happens if you run the car for three weekswithout oil cuz of some oil leak and thought it will stop leaking.someone i know i dont want to say names but wants to know

Umm very bad things... You will have no Lubrication for the engin, and probly Seize? lolJust dont do it, kinda dumb if you ask me..

You definately will do damage to the engine if it doesn't lock up on you.

no oil, no go. engine becomes a big boat anchor.

Wife's car had the oil filter come loose. Oil leaked out. Result: Used engine: $1230. Installation: $1300. Engine: Dual Overhead Cam 2.4 liter Dodge Stratus. Recommendation: fix leak and save money.

wears out engine mechanical parts. shorten engine life.

Your engine will seize up and stop running and you will incur immense damage to the inner workings of it. You could blow the head gasket, ruin your pistons or anything in your engine which requires lubrication from the oil.

actually.. it can still run if u ask me.but ur piston rings will have heavy friction with the cylinder wall thus u'll need to change a larger piston rings if u were to overhual it, worst case.. u might need to do some re bore on the cylinder walls
