Your brakes may be worn, or you need a wheel alignment.

Brake rotors need to be refaced or replaced. Very common.

your brake pads and shoes have worn unevenly. When you replace the pads (inexpensive) they will tell you if you need your rotor "turned". (expensive)

You may have a leak in the break fluid line and the fluid is getting all over the brakes.

Have your brakes inspected, if they are ok, get an alignment, and check your tires for wear, and balance them.
