well im currently doing this mod to my civic... and i expect somewhere in the neighborhood of 12 to 20 horses ...just remember that you never will get what they tell you that you will get... these mods help your car breathe GREAT but.... the fact is more O2 helps but needs more fuel for more combustion... talk to someone about upgrading your fuel system... as well as looking into your ports and do a little grinding... but lol just know what youre doing...

HA! 12 - 20!!! Maybe but not likely40!!!!! NEVER....that guy is no mechanic. You might have gained anywhere between 5-10...and considering your engine puts out 127 to the flywheel...that means your at best putting 90-100 to the wheels before your mods, you at best have between 95-105hp to the wheels of your civic. I have seen plenty of Hondas get dynoed to know for a fact that a Honda loses 20-30hp at wheels. (Example: If you have a 160hp engine...it will probably put down about 130-140hp at the wheels)I have a 2000 Civic Si Coupe that dynoed at 140.6...bone stock engine. After installing an AEM cold air intake, Skunk2 intake manifold, DC 4-1 Headers, Test Pipe, Full Apexi N1 exhaust, AEM fuel rail, filter, pressure regulator, AEM cam gears and AEM pulley set, removed the AC, MSD Distributor Cap, 6AL Ignition Control Box, MSD Blaster Coil 2,NGK Wires, Bosch Spark Plugs, ACT Prolite flywheel, Apexi V-AFC2, 263 degree Comp Cams with complete titanium valve train (valves, springs, retainers)...and to top it off it was dynotuned to max performance...my engine put 187.3 to the wheels. Not to shabby of a number for an all motor Si without touching the bottom end internals...but this shows you what you have to do to gain 46hp.Im not gonna lie...Its hard to get power out of a four-banger, I know from first-hand experience.
