Are there any good online forums for Honda owners where people discuss common problems with Hondas and how to fix them? Most of the lights in the dashboard of my 1999 Honda Accord have gone out one by one and I'd like to be able to replace the bulbs or fuses myself. There are also a lot of little things like that that I don't want to pay the dealer to fix unless I have to. Thanks.

In regards to replacing the clock light, which does NOT illuminate.see below:Take a flat blade screwdriver (wrap it in electrical tape so you don't dig up the trim) and insert it on the bottom of the clock assembly. There are two clips--one under the hazard switch and the other in the same place on the other side. If you insert and use very SLIGHT prying motion you can release them. When you get both of those released, pop the bottom edge of the clock out first, then slide the tabs on the top under a little bit to get it out. The bulb is on the right side--just barely large enough to remove and replace with your fingers and not tweezers. When you have it replaced, check it before you put it back. The clock light is on whenever the ignition is on--it has nothing to do with the headlights--so don't turn on your headlights without the ignition on and decide your new bulb is bad when it doesn't light up, like I did. Just turn the switch on and it should light up--you can see it easily through some cutouts in the side. When you put it back, put the top edge in first, then pop the bottom back in. It takes three minutes tops--the scariest part is releasing the bottom clips.You need to go to the dealer to buy the illumination bulb for your clock for the 1999 Honda! I ended up paying $2.12 for the bulb!Not too bad!Here are some other links like replacing the odometer light. Hey,man I know what you mean-and there ARE a crapload of bulbs behind the guage cluster(plugged in the back of it) be very gentle with removal/installation and do it yourself--- remove the upper column trim and guage bezel- dont forgeyt the two screws that go in the top of it into the upper dash-they are sort of hidden- then remove the four screws holding the cluster in place and the 2 or three connectors plugged right into the assembly-pull it out crefully and just replace all the bulbs unless you know or can guess which are out... very easy repair. also do a web search and just type honda repair in the search feild and see what comes up-or you can leave me a message with your other concerns and I will try to wlk you through them if neccessary-e-mail is willoroy@yahoo.com- cool-fix it cheap and correctly.
