How to turn off the maintenance light (not the check engine light) on a 20026 Honda Odyssey EXL

Try this:Turn the key to the on position but do not start car. Press the brake 3 to 4 times.Turn key to the off position.Start car.Maybe it will work; I use to work at a car dealership & that's what they would do to turn off those lights!

Not to be smart Thursday84,but that's howthe dealerships make thier $. perform needed maintenance,the lite should go out if not remove positive cable from battery for 1 min.then replace lite should be out. The lite is there for a reason.

its simple start the van up...then use the button on the dash for the trip and press it a few times until the oil life has came up then press and hold it until it starts flashing then let off and press and hold it again until it goes to 100%....when in doubt its in the owners manuel!

obviously if ur maintenance light is on is because you are scheduled to recieve a maintenance....i suggest just to go to a honda dealer and see if one of them is due and ignoring the situation might ruin ur car
