You need a recovery machine. bring it to a pro.

legally in the Usa you cant , it has to be handled by a professional licensed person , cotact an air conditioning repair or radiator repair facility, keep our ozone safe thank you

quite honestly if you have to ask, you need to take it to a pro. If you dont know what you are doing, it can be a great cost to you! i.e... fines.

You must recover the R-12 only with R12 recovery equipment.then vaccum the system down to remove all traces of it. you will also need a ney reciever-dryer and possibly a compressor if it is making any noise now,due to higher 134a pressures-I also reccomend replacing all the o-rings in the system as 134a can damage them,or cause failure again due to higher pressures
