Default My 2002 Honda CRV blower motor quit. So far I've ruled out the motor and the relay. So where's

the resistor? I pulled out the resistor before...it looks like a heat sink with out any electronics to go bad so I didn't suspect it was the culprit. I'll try and jumper by it and see what happens. Thanks

There should not be a resistor in the circuit. Use a jumper to get power directly to the motor if you can. If it does work the motor is fine. There is no other way to tell. And just because you hear the relay snaping doesn't mean it is closing the circuit. You can test the relay w/ a multi-meter or bypass it to see if that is indeed the problem. The only other thing that should be in that circuit is the switch and the wiring itself. If none of the speeds work I would not think it was the switch. Its just process of elimination. If you bypass each thing you will find the culprit.

great answer, but also do not rule out the fuses, they are commonly over looked and on average with hondas there are 2 seperate fuses in the blower fan circuit see your manual for their details/location, if the fuses, motor, switch and relay all check out, then back trace the wiring, if you're not good with cars.... then please do not try. it is the fastest way to make more work for someone else

the blower transitor is in the heater duct area behind or near the glove box. It will have a 4 wire plug in it and uses the air to keep it cool
