Default I have a 2002 civic, but no owners manual. What does the red SRS light stand for?

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with your airbags, probably should get that checked out ASAP.....

it means there is a problem with the airbag, so go take it to a repair place and they will fix it for not to much money

I have owned 3 Hondas so you can say I'm a pro when it comes to random lights turning on, LOL!... on that note it's your airbags light. The light can simply be triggered when someone leans on the door, because your vehicle has side airbags. It could also be the warning light malfunctioning or something more serious like a malfunctioning airbag. Best/Safest bet is to bring it into your nearest Honda dealer & have them check it out... this is one of those "better safe, then sorry situations". Hope this helps

SRS Supplimental Restraint System a.k.a. Airbag. You have to take it to the dealer and have them diagnose the problem. Your airbags may not go off in case of an accident until you get it fixed.

I think it means "safety restraint system". But I do know it has something to do with your AIRBAG SYSTEM. SRS light can mean any number of things from serious to minor. Sometimes it's alerting you to the real need for a repair of a broken part, but sometimes it is merely indicating that a circuit critical to proper SRS operation was temporarily disconnected (i.e. while you were installing a stereo, alarm, racing seat or steering wheel). You should take it to a shop. Peace!

If it's lit, then you have a problem with your airbags.
