Default which tool to use for changing accord 2001 license plate?

I am not able to unscrew the plates. I tried all availabel tools with me. I want to purchage right tool for it. If you have any suggestions please do post.Regards,

You may have to cut the rusted screws off. Get a hacksaw. It also comes in handy if you know someone in prison and you know how to bake a cake!!

Take it to a dealer or mechanic, or just call one. Dealers first, since they deal with license plates all of the time from trade-ins.

either a 10 mm 6 point socket or #3 phillips there the only 2 that i think they used

use some of that 10w40 stuff same thing happend to my 1995 nissan maxima i sold it could get the plates off put some of that on ate the rust some what easly came out

Well a 2001 shouldn't have rusted bolts yet, but spray some WD-40 on it anyways.... then use whatever tool is needed. It's only a license plate for god's sake!!
