Default I went to the car wash and water started leaking onto the passenger-side floor!?

Has this happned to anyone else? What happened?Yes, the windows were rolled up! It was the first time this had happened since we did some gentle off-roading.

No big deal, it either came through the door weather strip, or vent, or ??? the pressure and direction water in the carwash is a lot greater than what you will encounter on the road. If it doesn't leak in the rain don't worry.

I know this is dumb window up all the way door fully closed. Look all around the door gasket for tears and where the rubber weatherstrip is not touching the door. High Pressure self service car washes causes auto technicians to pull out there hair because you should never spray high pressure water into a weatherstrip it will blow right by into the car. Gentle garden hose with out a nozzle kind of flow is all that is needed to clean a car. And a bucket of suds and good fluffy wash mitt. In a shady spot rinse dirt mud off and under the fenders. Lather with wash mitt in circles painted surfaces Have second person keep the car damp the whole time and rinse again, towel dry or chamois

You might want to have the rubber around your windshield checked or replaced. I have a 67 Mustang Fastback & when I started getting water down there, I had to have the rubber seals replaced. Just ended up having all of the windows done which freaked me out because the glass is "ORIGINAL" with factory tint!!!

In my 95 Civic I had the same problem and it ended up being the seal in the doorjamb where the speaker wires run in from the door. It is located in the front near the hinges.
