how do i make my 2001 prelude faster?

short of changeing the mortor and trany, you can give your self more horsepower by instaling high performance distibutor pack, plugs &wires change the air breather sys. to a high input sys . drain and flush oil and go synthetic . better gas with and additive that will get you instant results .hope i could shed some lightrsmithalso buy a chilltons or haynes manual for your yr make & modle

I own a prelude, but I don't think Honda made the car to go fast. the H22 is a great motor, but the car's weight is just what is holding the car back. So maybe lighten the car a little?
