When driving I can hear my engine make a churning noise. Doesnt happen when driving for the first couple of minutes. When engine gets warmer, the churning noise becomes more evident. Any ideas would help before I go in to service it so that I dont get ripped off.

when was the last time oil change oil filter,sparkplugs see if water pump is working see if you have loose fan belt or one of the pulleys worn out.

How many miles on the car?

oh that noise means you have to take it in to get it checked

when was the last time your oil was changed?you should get the oil changed every 1500-3000 miles.if you had your oil recently changed then:when accelerating does it take a while to shift gears? or does it not shift when it feels like it naturally should?if so then you may have a problem with your transmission, more specifically your catalytic converter, the thing that helps you shift.
