Default why do my 1993 honda accord idle up and down?
when i start my car up...it idle's from 2 to 3 on my rpm gauge

Look at the vacuumline to the EGR valve, if it is in goo shape change the valve, bottom line it sounds like a vacuum leak.

I'd think somethings up with the alternator. You need to keep a nice charge of current to keep the engine going... but in return you need the engine going at a decent RPM to get the current.

its low on antifreeze or its going to need a fast idle valve is sticking open

Sounds like the EGR Valve or the Throttle Position Sensor.
