Try the late 90's Acura Integra engine. I've always heard that is the one that gets swapped into hondas.

The VTEC-E was the engine used in the Civic HX from 1996 to 2000. I don't believe it was used any other time.

Sounds like you need information and, if you are serious, need it badly. If you are going to put in another engine I don't think you should settle for a SOHC when there are other stock higher performance options out there.Go here and do your homework first... you will appreciate your efforts and how wisely your money was spent on the project:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/188...F8&s=booksGood luck!

My 98 Accord has a SOHC VTEC in it. It's the H22A.
