Well, I don't own one--but we have two as company vans, so I spend a lot of time behind the wheel.Even with a roof rack and those giant wipers and mirrors, I've found the sealing in general to be very good, and I haven't heard anything other than tire nose, so I'd say the whistle is history. If I were going to spec one out myself, I'd go for the base LX to save money. I really don't like the way you can't add features, but have to buy those big packages. That said, if you want nav, EX-L is definitely the way to go, since you still have cloth seats--leather may look nice, but it's slippery and needs constant care.Your timing is good here--they're doing their 2006 model year clearance and there's 2.9% financing available. The 2007s will look very different, so if you're brave, you might wait until January and go looking for a leftover 2006, cheap. I bet you could find an EX-L then for around $27,000.As for dislikes:It's huge. It's tall, it's long and it weighs OVER TWO TONS. You can really feel that in the corners. I drove a Mazda5 mini-minivan recently, and it was great (and 2/3 the price, hint, hint). The second-row seats are hard to move and remove.Visibility is not so great; the tall sides mean that normal-sized cars can be hard to see when changing lanes. But my biggest problem is actually the ergonomics. I’m a normal sized guy (5’9”), and my arms are straight out to the steering wheel, so it starts to hurt after 45 minutes. I can’t reach the radio/climate, either. It’s made for apes. Even my 6’3” co-worker has the same problem. I don’t know if any trim level has a telescoping wheel, but EX certainly doesn’t.
