Have a 93 del sol SI Will not start 40% of the time -new Fuel filter did not help.Fuel pump-?
Car starts when it wants to- It will start right way or just cranksWill fire on starter fluid - I believe its a fuel pump going out- manuelsays fuel pump access is under the rear seat on a Civic - where is it on the Del sol ?Any other items to look at that might cause it to do this?

the del sol is a civic...well a version of themand yea it sounds to be the fuel pump..the motor isnt getting enough gas to start up..theres probly a clog..which sometimes it will start sometimes it wont
|

i would try the fuel pump relay first much cheaper and easier to do without dropping the gas tank
|
