Hi...I dont own a Civic, but I have seen them driving about. The new civic has two exhaust holes at the rear, which are triangular in shape. I see that brand new ones have some kind of cover for these triangles, but I have seen some people driving around with what I think are covers, still there, and not removed!?! Does this mean they dont realise they have to remove them, or are they not exhaust covers? What are they? Are some people driving around with exhaust fumes, being trapped inside, and not being released? Im really tempted to just go up to every Civic I see with these covers, and poke them out or something, for the cars sake! Does anyone know?I think these civics are just in Europe, not USA.Pics here...go to page 34 to see rear tailpipes:http://www.hondauk-media.co.uk/prote...tailpipes'

I haven't seen what you're talking about but if there was something stuck over the exhaust tip the car would not run. If there is something there I'm sure it is for a reason.Maybe Al Gore is plugging them up to prevent global warming!
