I see alot of tacky looking economy cars with intake and exhaust and crappy wheels to make their hondas look like a jet or whatever they are doing Seriously i own a 1999 honda civic ex and there is no way this car would be fast with that crap on it. Its a great car, its reliable, comfortable and quiet. But I would feel like such a queer with a big wing on it and a fart can. Why dont people just get an already fast car and make it faster and even more respectable than dump thousands into..a honda?serously, that crap doesnt help. having less than 200hp is fast..for a bike. The honda odyessey minivan actually runs a faster quarter mile than a civic what does that tell you? its ghetto and old.

They are super-light and cheap so they are one of the best choices to supe up. They look stupid I agree if you want to by a cheap car to supe up buy a 93 mustang.

everybody thinks there in that stupid movie the fast and the furious! I like the "fart can" line, if you don't mind I think I will use it . I bought a beat up 1986 chevy pick-up and dropped in a 350 motor with about 350 HP, put in a posi rear with 3.73 gears , new TCI tranny with a shift kit and I love nothing better than blowing the doors off unsuspecting rice burners!!!

well..there actually fast if you supe them up correctly.there light weight..and if you have the EX the motor is better then the LX/DX ectIntake(Cold air).header.exhaust...the three main things to start with. but the fart can sound..i dont know why they do that..those racing cannons worsen performance. and rims if there light weight..they help your performance also..15's are the best to go with. wings some what help..but those big ugly ones dont..stock is better..people dump thousands into hondas because if you know what your doing..they are wonderfull for drag and show. Parts are very inexpensive..and the car itself is very light weighti myself own a 98 acura integra sedan..i added 15's and a CAI and it has dramatically increased my performance and HP.

Having Turbo and or putting a supercharge in the car is the bomb!!!! Plus it's a hobby.One thing that I hate is people putting body kits without it being painted. And people put stickers all over so it can go faster. it is dadada stupid!!!! http://www.cardomain.com

modifying a honda that has low insurance rates, still gets over 30mph, availibility of parts and ease of installation, and handles better than most domestic lead sled sports cars for 1/3 the price is why they do it.

Well the fart can sound comes from the muffler being replaced rather than the whole exhaust system thus creating back pressure and a ridiculous sound. Now these cars are cheap and affordable to enhance aesthetically and mechanically. You can pick up a 90honda CRX and drop in a K20(rsx) engine which will all add up to about 6k and this little pocket rocket will embarass any muscle car out there. I'm a ford guy but i know what these cars are capable of. I have seen a 1993 civic hatchback with a fully tuned H22A( prelude engine) and turbo smoke the $hit out of a viper and a zo6 corvett.. yeah thats why they are the weapon of choice in the streets. Although the tacky monstrousity objects you speak of such as clear taillights and giant shopping cart wings are not necessary since hondas are front wheel drive and wings are mainly for rear wheel drive unless ofcourse used in a long distane high speed chase...

I think its because people cant afford sports cars and the running costs so they buy very old hondas and put 500" wide exhausts on them...stupid if you ask me, Id rather save up for the real deal and not look a prat in a "pocket rocket"
