The speedometer in your car is electronically controlled. So, you probably have to install a new gauge cluster.

my accord is a bit older, but there was a cable that just vibrated loose, plugged her back in and off i went.

If the rest of the guage cluster work and if its electronic check the plug on the transmission it may have a dirty connectionto troubleshoot it get a haynes auto repair book at your local after market parts dealerstay away from a dealer for they tend to be 50% more expensive than your local garage for service work
