if you want them on whenever the lights are on wire them to the tail-lights, if you want them to come on when you apply the brakes only, wire them to the brake lights. if you want them to flash with the turn signals you will need to run 2 sets of wire, one to each turn signal. You can ground the negative wire to any metal to metal contact that is in contact with the automobiles frame on a negative ground vehicle (which is almost all of them). Nye
