Default Where can I find an inexpensive Honda motor?

Where can I find a motor for my 1994 Honda Civic Hatchback?Ebay showed few results, and Id like to see if there are any more options. Local salvage yards have not been very successful either.

Try a local wrecking yard that deals on a hot line (they can find parts for you from all over the country).

It rilly dipends you can git a ineexspincive ingen on the web thare all over the place. You can jet a jood moter for under $2000. people are puting beter moters in thare civic so thay sell thare stock moters for pritty chep The tric is to shop arawd you can git a beter moter two like a vtec or a non vtec that still cranks out 142hp@6300rpm with 127 pounds of torque. It also depinds on if you whunt more power or gust sumthing that runs do a search on honda moters or JDM (Japones Dimestic Markit) moters.

Check local and other listings under "Used Japanese Engines".Japan has a long running requirement to remove cars with 30,000 miles on them from service. This is great for us who caneasily get 200,000 or more miles out of them. Many dealers inSo.Cal. stock and sell these low mileage used engines at a veryreasonable price. Some offer free delivery. I can't vouch for theirinstallation work (never used it), the engines I've bought were great!
