Yes. You need to keep up with the maintenance, and make sure you have the oil changed regularly...Of course, if you want to just customize it and drive it like you're trying for the pole position at Nascar...then it probably isn't going to be all that reliable.

Historically, the Honda Civic has an outstanding reputation for low operating costs and reliability. Check out Edmund's or Consumer Reports' online archives for past model reviews.

Yes, I have a 2004 Honda Civic. In December I'll be buying my 3rd Honda Civic. The LX is a good trim, the EX is better... the only superficial difference is that the EX has a moon roof. The gas mileage is fantastic and if you take care of it, your Honda will last a really long time. Some say that the seats are a bit uncomfortable, but they work fine for me. If you're concerned about that, you can buy carseat cushions for cheap at Walmart.Hold out for the 2006 Honda Civic, the body style is better and the interior has more features.

Yes Hondas and Toyotas are the best! They never break down. I had a Honda with 250000 n\miles on it. It didn't stop until I total wrecked it

Yes they are great cars. I had mine for years and never had any problems with it. I could fill my gas tank and it would stay good for like a month.

HELL YES. I bought a brand new '92 Civic, and for 14 years, it's kicked ass. It's been totally dependable & reliable, I haven't had to put much money into it, and it's great for city driving. In fact, in all those years there was only one time where it just didn't work, and I had to bring it into the shop to get it fixed, and that was about 12 years into its life. I just may get another one!Oh, and the chicks dig it!

Yes. I used to own one until a drunk driver struck it. I loved it. Good on gas, nothing ever broke, nice stock stereo system, sunroof, - they're just great. I recommend the EX.
