most b series engines will fit. may require different motor mounts. It is even possible that some of the new k series powertrains will work with some minor modifications.

pretty much any Honda engine made. Like the 1.8 out of Acura GSR . 2.2 or 2.3 liter out out of preludes. I think they had a 2.0 but not sure what it was out of. Check to make sure that engine will fit before you decide to buy anything.

I do know that you should graduate to a big boy car and quit wasting time on those stupid economy cars!!! A civic was not made to be a race car! You RICE FAGS need to stop with the fart cans and become real racers. We'll be waiting!

To the person above me... think what you want. Your statement only shows how ignorant you are. Compared to the SN's and the F-Bodies, a base model civic has more engineering precision than your so beloved rattle-trap.And for the Answer, a near direct drop in would be a K-series. Any of them.

first of all why would you change that engine? if its about power i say just bolt on a turbo or plug in a new cpu. but a k20 will fit. about the same power

You could probably shoe-horn a 350 chevy in there, but it would probably take a lot of work, as well as needing a totally different drive-train. It would sure be funny though
