...gas? can you just drive around going 35mph? ha ha... might be a silly ? but a few friends and i were thinking about it?AGAIN FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO CANT READ THE ? CORRECTLY .... I DIDNT SAY I WANTED TO BUY ONE... I WAS JUST CURIOUS! dont answer with a smart remark.... go find something to do besides answering a million ?s thanks

You can drive gas free under 35 mph for some hybrids if you have enough battery power stored up. There are ways to plug in hybrids with slight modifications so that you can make short errands using only electricity. Visit popsci.com for details.

First of all, all the hybrids are different and create their power differently. With that being said none of them that I have ever heard do what you are stating. It would make the car so expensive. Not only that but you have to ask yourself why wouldn't everyone have a hybrid if it switched gas after 35 mph.
