Default What is top speed on the 2006 Honda Civic Coupe (USA)?
Seeing that the speedometer is digital, where does it stop....what is the max speed?

I assure you, the speedometer has a much higher top speed than the car.

it stops when the highway patrol pulls you over for passing them, when the drag on the car exceeds the power to continue accelerating, when you hit the governor on the enigine, or for my 2004 Civic Si, on a downhill in 5th gear and hitting the fuel cutoff...approx 143MPH give or take errors in the speedo at those speeds

Top speed is posted on highway signs. If no signs are posted keep it at 35 in the city (25 if in residential neighborhood) and 55 on open highway that's safe. Heed the highway signs, not your cars maximum capacity when thinking in terms of top speed. You'll live longer.
