Get the Helm Inc. Service manual at www.helminc.comThey aren't cheap (~$100) but they will answer every question you have about your Honda or Acura and save you tons of money on do it yourself projects. It will also save you money by being able to talk and listen accurately to shop mechanics. You won't be steered into something stupid anymore!I don't know of a single Honda that has a timing CHAIN. All come with BELTS. Honda's have interference engines and that belt keeps the pistons and valves from being in the same place at the same time. The timing belt has an estimated life span and then it will break. The interval for changing that belt is in your owner's manual. Breaking the belt generally destroys the engine.
