What is after market parts like aftermarket headers or aftermarket air filter?

it wasn't installed by the factory that made the car, bike, ect. ect.

after market means thats its kind like an upgrade or something thats made for your car but better. oem is orignal equipment that came with your car after market is like say you get good year tires for your car but you go buy toyo tires and those are aftermarket.

aftermarket is anything that is not an original part. for example: say i canot afford the original radio for my car. i could easily just but a radio from a store. thats what aftermarket is.

some thing u change after you got your caryou replaced it with some else rather then what the the manufacther gave like headers or exhuast

After market parts are parts designed and made from companies other than the Original Company who as made the product to begin with.

Aftermarket means any product that you install on your vehicle that was not originally installed by the manufacturer (in the factory).

Made by any other company than Honda would be aftermarket.Honda parts made by Honda would be OEM
