Whats faster a B-16 0r a type-s motor?

I am not sure about speed, but a type-s motor has more specific impulse. It also depends on the mass of the entire assembly.

Honestly, it depends on how you have the engine set up & what kind of transmission & clitch & fly wheel you are using. The JDM b16a is typically around 170-180hp, stock, when paired up w/a 5-speed tranny & an 8lb lightened fly wheel.

THE TYPE-S IS WAY FASTER THAN THE B-16. SPECIALLY THE 2006 TYPE-S MOTOR THAT'S PUSHING ABOUT 210 HP. ALSO YOU CAN MAKE TYPE-S MOTOR FASTER YOU CAN JUST TUNE THE ECU CHIP.

Stock the Type-S motor (K20Z1) is more poweful and better tuned.Its about 400cc bigger, Has i-VTEC and more compression and torque.
