Default What all is involved in fitting an H22A in an 87 CRX?

I've been looking this up for awhile and intend to do it. I just have not found very much info on how. I know you're going to need new struts, shocks, and motor mounts. What else? Websites with info would be great.

transmisson, the cost of a H22 would be about 3,000 bucks. then the transfer is costly. Kind of pointless to put in a crx

Your on the right track. Only problem is that it's going to be a pain in the ass to put in. Firewall has to be beat back almost 3 in. you can do this with a 10lb deadblow hammer. Also you are going to have to use prelude inner axels with Gsr outer axels. This means when you go to buy you axels instead of buying 2 axels your going to have to buy 4 of them, take them apart then put them back together then install them. Your also going to need a del sol shift linkage. and you going to have to hack the wiring harness to wire everything up. Honestly your best bet is an ITR swap, you can mounts and everything you need from hmotorsonline.com it'll be cheaper and you'll be able to make waaaay more power because there is just more parts available for a b-series motor. Widebody has the right idea I just thought that I'd add on to what you & he has mentioned, & say that you're going to have to hunt up a new ECU & wire harness, as well as another ECU.Good luck, dude, you have one hell of an over-haul on your engine swap.
