Don't listen to the retarded import bashers. I have a prelude that can smoke them.Go to honda-tech.com and look arround in the accord section or do a search. Always search before asking a question.

Cone-shaped air filter, breather filter, cat-back exhaust, 4-2-1 headers. If you have a lot more money you can get billet (fresh from the mold, not reground) camshafts, a blade-honed crankshaft and/or you can have the engine blueprinted and balanced. Turbocharging and supercharging can be a bit risky because the engine bay is cramped.

'nurr, i have prelude i can smoke em!' dont listen to this ricer talk. all ricers think their vtec is some sort of warp speed on an economy car. the fact is these cars are just reliable grocery getters. A faggoty-ass rice mobile is for posers. sell it and get something more respectable if you want a 'tuner'. you will look like a joke ricing out a civic, accord, prelude, neon, you get the idea. If you want to keep it jap look for something with boost? its not worth the money and without forced induction your accord will not gain much more that a few ponies. an accord is a well built car but well built for what it was MADE for.Typical ricer talk. 'v8s dont have any power'. you've never sat behind the wheel of a vette! I cant tell you how hilarious it is to blow the doors of a riced out prelude in an extended cab full size truck! my truck isnt even that fast and its a truck! you may weigh less but it means sh*t if your car has NO power. I didnt even trash talk you beloved rice mobiles and you freaked out lol. your probably what? 16? lol.

For old mexi I have a civic hatch that I will put up against any american crap you can find. The only thing v8's are good for is wasting gas. They are all bark and not bite. For the accord I know a guy who has a 2 door v6 that has built the motor and turboed it. The car is very fast 13.5 or better and still driveable everyday. If you want minor power intake and exhaust are ok, but turbo is the way to go. My hatch has a gsr motor fully built internals aem computer t66 turbo with a cutout. so i go from silent to throwing flames on the car next to me. It also has intercooler sprayer kit by nx and a racing tranny. Its not very good as a daily driver but on the weekends its untouchable. I have beat any domestic out there more than once. and not not stock domestics moded. So if you like the accord and want to make it fast go for it. V8,S SUCK THEY ARE SLOW USE A LOT OF GAS AND LOOK LIKE CRAP. I WOULD RATHER RIDE THE BUS THAN IN A SHITSTANG OR GAY CAMERO. THE ONLY DOMESTIC THATS OK ARE DIESEL TRUCKS. OF COURSE TO PUL MY CAR TO THE DRAGSTRIP.MY CAR IS A DRAG CAR YOU IDIOT IT WILL PULL A VETTE BY 15 CARS. 13.5 FOR A DAILY DRIVER IS PRETTY GOOD. UNLIKE YOU I LIVE 5 MIN FORM THE DRAG STRIP AND WE KNOW WHAT CARS RUN THERE. A STOCK VETTE HAS NEVER PULLED BELOVE 13.5 THERE. YOU CAN SAY WHAT EVER BUT MY HATCH RUNS HIGH 10S AND IS STREETABLE SO THATS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME. THE ONLY V8 CARS AT THE TRACK THAT DO THAT HAVE TO BE TRAILORED IN AT THE STRIP. I LIKE CORRVETTES BUT THEY ARE SO MUCH AND WITH THAT MONEY I COULD BUILD A REALLY FAST CAR. NOT TO BUST YOUR BUBBLE BUT THEY ARE NOT THAT FAST.I PUT UP 1000 DOOLARS THAT SAYS A STOCK VETTE AND A 92-95 HATCH WITH A H22 IN IT THAT THE HATCH PULS IT.AND FOR THE MEXICAN I HAVE DROVE A CORVETTE AN NSX A 69 CAMERO I HAVE ONE FOR SHOW SS CONV I AHVE DROVE LAMBO AND RODE IN MANY DRAG CARS SO SHUT YOUR MOUTH. I LIVE AND WORK NEAR A DRAG STRIP AND WORK WITH V8 AND 4 CYL CARS SO I KNOW WAHT CARS WILL DO.

Keep the accord. All the people that dispacement is all that matters, THEY ARE WROOONG! I have a 95 prelude with the h23a non-vtec. turbo, port and polish, aftermarket cams, forged pistons and rods.dynoed 342 bhp. all in a car that weighs 700 lbs less that any mustang or corvette. Be alittle original, ever red neck has a mustang and only old farts that don't have any guts left own vettes. If you want a real car, get an acura nsx, you fools you!

err a honda with a h22a motor would smoke a vet any day of the week. when i started out I found an intake and the exhaust where the best and cheapest way to gain horses in my accord.
