It really depends on how you plan on using your car. Coil-overs a great if you plan on hitting the local track on weekends, but need a daily driver. If you're like me and just want better handling and looks, go with the drop springs. They are cheaper and you don't have to worry as much about getting your tires balanced often. Both are good but the coil-overs are expensive and not worth it if you don't plan on racing or track driving often. Good luck, I hope this helped. P.S. - spend the $$ on Eibach springs or Tein coil-overs.... they are worth the $$!

If you just want a nice aggressive stance to your car, go with springs, however; if you want performance handling, do with Coilovers. With the coilovers, you can adjust your ride height, with springs its just a set drop. I have Skunk2 coilovers on my prelude, and its stiffer than all frickin' get-out (set at a 2" drop). The spring rates are 10K/8K which is VERY high (stock springs are 2K). The higher the spring rate, the stiffer it will be. I have TEIN's on my NSX, I like them, but they are overrated (set at a 1.9" drop) Spring rates for those are 8K/6K i believe. You may also want to look into High-performance low-profile tires as well. I will recommend the Yokohama Parada Spec 2's, I have them on my prelude & NSX, I LOVE that tire, its very grippy. Depending upon your drop, you will want to get a Camber kit, or you'll be going thru tires very quickly(trust me, I have 19's on my NSX w/no camber kit, I go thru tires almost every 15K miles). Again, that’s only depending upon your drop -- you may not need it if you go with a simple 1.5" drop or so, but anything over 1.6+ I'd highly recommend a camber kit. Also, depending upon your drop, I'd recommend new shocks. Try Koni adjustable's, Tokico Blues, Koni Yellows or KYB's.
