the best engine for a 1992 prelude is the D16a whis is equivelant to the GSR engine in a 1996 Acura Integra (Acura & Honda are all the same things pretty much).... u'd have to change the wiring harness and the motor mounts though

The engine it commonly comes with. The 2.2L H22a is a high powered, mid torque engine. about 200-220 horsepower stock. People swap these into civics, integras, and most commonly into the accords. They are great engines. great acceleration. I'm saving up to buy one to swap into my accord soon.
