I have a 89 honda prelude that has minor damage on the front. The light motors don't work, the hood is bent, the bumper is punctured, and the corners are dented. should I pay up and fix it, or try to sell it or part it out?

Look up the Blue book value on KBB.com and see if it is worth it to you to pay to get it fixed or to just sell it outright.

dump it honestly. i dono how much you can get for that anyway.

Well there are many things to ask yourself. How many miles are on it? Does it still run well? Can you buy another car for less than or the same amount that you can repair this one? Hondas have great resale value...you might not want to sell it for parts. You may be surprised at how many people are in the need of a cheap ride and will not care about the cosmetics for one, or who may come along and buy it, fix it then sell it for profit. How much are you willing to pay for something else? Hope that helps some. If not you can always look into donating it and writing it off on taxes next year...just some thoughts. Good luck!

Alot of these things you can get pretty cheap. The only problem is finding a good painter that woln't charge an arm and a leg.You might want to see how much you are going to have to spend on parts at car-parts.com. Then see how much it would cost to get it painted.Also, alot of dealerships have a guy that comes by that fixes dents pretty cheap. If the hood and fenders can be fixed for less than new ones you might want to keep them.

Maaco will have the body parts, or you could find them on ebay. I've driven honda products to 290K and they perform well... Its all about what its worth to you... not someone else.
